In winter, Szklarska Poreba offers all types of skiing, with downhill sking on the slopes of Szrenica, cross-country trails in Jakuszyce, where there are excellent conditions for this form of skiing until spring.
In winter, Szklarska Poreba offers all types of skiing, with downhill sking on the slopes of Szrenica, cross-country trails in Jakuszyce, where there are excellent conditions for this form of skiing until spring. Over 100 km of cross-country skiing trails are prepared from the Jakuszycka Glade, and at the beginning of March, the largest ski race in Poland - the Run Piastow - is held there.
Amateurs of slightly wilder routes will find many places for skitouring.
